This is my illustration of a ghost story I wrote for Halloween one year. I was inspired to write a ghost story about my family's old washing machine by several strange, but interesting dreams I have had involving that washing machine, especially the ones I included in my ghost story where we still had that washing machine in many different places of my childhood home and sometimes my current house even though the washing machine died a long time ago. My illustration for my ghost story is a charcoal drawing of the old washing machine and dryer in the laundry room of my childhood home. I also used a white chalk pastel stick to give the ghost washing machine a glowing translucent look like how many fictional ghosts are designed or drawn out.
