I wanted to make a batch of animal themed fingerprint art magnets inspired by the wildlife at Yellowstone plus some Happy Bigfoot magnets for those of you who believe (my mom believes in Bigfoot but my dad does not). I experimented with a variety of my fingers to draw out the heads of the wildlife and Bigfoot and then tried using my white Sharpie paint marker to draw an under layer for at least the eyes of the magnets as I was working on the details. That technique has made these fingerprint art magnets at least slightly more complex to make than even the commissioned Ladybug Magnets taking me at least one more day than pretty much all of the other fingerprint art magnets I have made so far. When it was finally time to make the little artwork into magnets, I decided to use the slightly bigger flat glass marbles I bought not too long ago, which are about 1 1/4", that I thought would better suit the pretty big Yellowstone wildlife. I also decided to use slightly bigger magnets I also bought this year to serve as the actual magnets and these types of magnets can hold on to a refrigerator and/or white board very well.
My Bigfoot/Sasquatch Magnets are currently out of stock, but I have enough materials to make some more magnets like these. If you would like a Bigfoot/Sasquatch Magnet, or if you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected].
