Here is a close up photo of one of the pine trees at Yellowstone that features at least two very different pinecones. On the day after my family and I arrived at the park, we went on a bus tour where we got to explore the Lower Loop. During the later part of the tour, my mom wanted some close up photos of pine trees at a picnic area that served as a rest stop. I wanted to add some warm pink and cool blue color tones to this pine tree close up as I turned up the texture to let the two pinecones and the many dancing green pine needles stand out and shine. This turned out to be one of the best of the pine tree close up photos I have come up with from my trip to Yellowstone so far, especially since it has became my mom's favorite as she now has an 8" x 10" print of the photo framed and hung up in our woodsy alpine themed guest bathroom.
