I have been wanting to make some wildflower magnets since my trip to Sylvan Meadows and I thought I would start off with four Thistle Magnets inspired by the thistles I saw there. I used my index finger to make the base of each thistle flower and then used Sharpie Markers to draw the details the actual flowers. The Thistle Magnets were just as easy to make as the commissioned Pineapple Magnets and I managed to fit most of the fingerprint thistle flowers into small 7/8" x 7/8" flat glass marbles. I felt inspired to make these flower magnets by all of my supportive customers I met/encountered at the first Art @ The Alley Way event of 2024 who I would like to give very special thanks to for making that evening one of the most successful ones I have had there so far.
I currently have 2 Thistle Magnets, which you can put on your refrigerator, white board, etc, available in stock for $5 per magnet. If you would like to place an order, please contact me at [email protected] while these Thistle magnets are available.
