Along with the Thistle Magnets, I wanted to make some Rhododendron Magnets, which were inspired by many neat colors I saw, including yellow, when I looked up this type of flower. Even though rhododendrons seem to come in bunches of flowers, I thought I would make just one individual flower for each magnet as I used my pinky finger to draw out the petals and then used Sharpie Markers to add the details including spots on the top petals. The Rhododendron Magnets were not too complex to make either and I figured that what are now my medium sized 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" flat glass marbles would best suit these colorful fingerprint rhododendrons. I also felt inspired to make these new flower magnets by my supportive customers from the first Art @ The Alley Way event of 2024 who I would like to once again thank for making that evening one of my most successful ones there yet.

My Yellow Rhododendron Magnet is currently out of stock, but I have enough materials to make about a couple more magnets like this. If you would like a Yellow Rhododendron Magnet, or if you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected].
