I wanted to create a California wildflower themed batch of fingerprint art magnets by making 4 California Poppy Magnets and 4 California Goldfield Magnets. I felt inspired to create these colorful California Poppy magnets by my trip to Sylvan Meadows with my very close friend where I brought up and discussed my idea of making wildflower magnets as we hiked. I remember my friend suggesting that I should make California Poppy Magnets, so I went onboard with the idea to make some of those, along with magnets featuring some of the other wildflowers from the Diamond Valley Lake Wildflower Trail, as well as magnets featuring wildflowers from the Sylvan Meadows/Santa Rosa Plateau that I plan to make. The California Poppy Magnets were quite a little color experiment, but I managed to find a good color combination that makes my fingerprint California Poppies look as much like the real state flower as possible and those magnets were not really complex to make. I also wanted to use 7/8" x 7/8" flat glass marbles to have these wildflower magnets go with my Thistle Magnets.
My California Poppy Magnets are currently out of stock, but I have enough materials to make some more.If you would like a California Poppy Magnet, or if you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected].
