I decided to make some more Polymer Clay Hippo Rings with roses on their heads after having to remake the most recently commissioned custom polymer clay ring (prior to baking the clay since I am still trying to finish the latter). This time, I wanted to give these hippos pink roses and go with a cute light pink polymer clay color inspired by an idea for a new drawing project I wanted to make for Valentine's Day. It feels like I am getting better at sculpting roses with polymer clay and even though I had to give the pink roses some epoxy glue and acrylic paint touch-ups, I still had no problem making these polymer clay hippos overall. I did place one of the clay hippos in a diagonal position by mistake, but I decided to just keep it that way to let the ring be fun and quirky (especially since there was no turning back after supergluing the polymer clay to the adjustable ring base), which is why I could not resist including individual photos of both of these rings in this post (and thankfully, my mom's winter table runner was willing to support my diagonal hippo ring in its actual position).

My Polymer Clay Hippo Rings with Light Pink Roses are currently out of stock, but I should have enough polymer clay to make about a couple more rings like this.
