I could not go through the start of the summer season in 2025 without at least creating some airplane travel themed artwork. Since I really enjoyed creating my Multicolor Airplane Magnet batch last year, I decided to make another batch that features the same 2 types of aircraft designs in different color combinations including darker red and pink. I selected most of the pigment ink colors from the same 2 sets of bright colored ink I used for my 1st batch plus some newer colors from my growing collection of archival ink (because I find archival pigment ink to be the best type of pigment ink to make fingerprint art magnets with, especially since almost all art vendor events I participate in are outdoors). Because I decided to select different color combinations for these new multicolor airplanes, I tried out a different technique where I pressed the bottom half of the side of my pinky finger onto one pigment ink color (which was not too tricky to do) and then the top half onto another (which did require wiping off some of the ink to fit onto the top half of the multicolor airplanes nicely).
