This photo from my trip to the Grand Canyon jumps further into the evening my family and I stayed there around the time we had dinner near these Grand Canyon views. I found this image I got of some dancing bare branched trees overlooking the canyon with bold contrast between the sunlight and shadows (along with color contrast that I wanted to add onto as well) as I was working on my new 2026 wall calendars. I decided to include this bare branched tree photo in my Grand Canyon Landscapes calendar and I thought I would post it around Halloween one year. Between the dancing bare branched trees and plenty of shadows in the canyon, this landscape setting feels like the day of Halloween not too long before sunset.
