I 1st bought some candy charms at Michael’s before moving to Central Florida, and then got a bunch of neat multicolor beads, including the multicolor gold and white ones, after the move, and then wanted to make some candy themed beaded bracelets with color schemes inspired by the new charms and beads to refill my custom beaded bracelet display for art vendor events. I wanted to use more of a variety of beads, from painting solid colors on my medium wood beads, to the small beads from one of my old bead boxes, to painting stripes on the striped round wood beads I have as well to create a striped gumball look (since I think I have seen those types of candy before even though I do not chew gum), to go with the candy charms and multicolor beads. I then got to use some new varnish my dad got for me in the garage of my new home and the results look a lot better than the old varnish we used for my previous hand painted wood beads before the move (or was I just lucky enough to find the perfect time to varnish the beads). Even though the candy charms did come with clips, I decided to string them through their hoops instead so they would not fall off the bracelets so easily.
I currently have 1 adult sized Yellow Candy Bracelet, which you can wear on your left or right wrist, available in stock for $30 (because the striped beads required more labor than just using solid color hand painted wood beads for my Lucky Duck Bracelets). If you would like to place an order, please contact me at [email protected] while this bracelet is available.
